Ingredients
  

Chicken and Vegetables
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast sliced into thin strips
  • 4 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 1 bell pepper sliced any color
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Shred the cabbage, julienne the carrots, and slice the bell pepper.
  3. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips and stir fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the garlic, ginger, cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper to the wok.
  2. Stir fry for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Add Sauce
  1. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
  2. Add the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce, cooking for an additional minute.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or noodles.
