Ingredients
  

Churro Dough
  • 1 cup water Boiling
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For Frying
  • 4 cups vegetable oil For frying

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
  3. Allow to cool slightly, then mix in beaten eggs and vanilla until smooth.
Fry the Churros
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  3. Pipe strips of dough into hot oil, cutting with scissors to desired length.
  4. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Coat with Cinnamon Sugar
  1. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Roll hot churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
