  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1 large red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Additional chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook linguine according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, chives, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms; sauté until softened.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Stir in the low-sodium chicken broth, heavy cream, and butter mixture. Mix until everything is well incorporated and sauce is heated through.
  6. Toss the cooked linguine into the chicken and sauce mixture, mixing to coat the pasta evenly.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and Parmesan cheese.
