  • 4 slices Chinese square white milk bread
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • canola or vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Spread peanut butter on two slices of milk bread.
  3. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the peanut butter.
  4. Top with the remaining two slices of bread.
  5. Dip the sandwiches in beaten eggs.
  6. Fry the sandwiches in the pan until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Remove from pan and spread unsalted butter on top.
  8. Drizzle more sweetened condensed milk for serving.
