  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips plus more for topping

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, maple syrup, peanut butter, oil or applesauce, and vanilla or almond extract. Mix well.
  3. Add the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, kosher salt, and chocolate chips to the banana mixture. Stir until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Top with additional chocolate chips and flaky sea salt if desired.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the bars are set and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing into 24 bars.
