- Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg with a splash of water.
- Dip the chicken strips into the egg mixture, then coat with crushed cornflake cereal mixed with kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Place the coated chicken strips in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking oil spray.
- Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, flip the tenders, then cook for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and mix with honey and hot sauce. Drizzle over the cooked chicken tenders.
