Ingredients
  

Mushrooms
  • 4 large portabella mushrooms stems removed
Filling
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably Italian seasoned
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Stuffing the Mushrooms
  1. Place the portabella mushrooms in a baking dish, gill side up.
  2. Spoon the filling mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing down gently to pack it in.
  3. Drizzle a little olive oil over the stuffed mushrooms.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
