  • 8 cups stale brioche bread, cubed
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
Custard Base
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • powdered sugar for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Layer half of the brioche cubes in the baking dish followed by half of the berries. Repeat with remaining bread and berries.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered bread and berries. Gently press down to soak.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Serve warm with powdered sugar or syrup.
